What personal data we collect and why we collect it

For non-customers: cookies, including tracking cookies. You can opt out of cookies here.

For customers: name, email address, phone or messaging app contact information, personal preferences as defined in our customer intake form, transactional data (purchase information), and technical data (cookies, opt out above). See also sensitive personal data below.

Sensitive personal data: depending on the selected services, we may need to collect more specific and sensitive information such as your passport number or credit card information. This type of information is collected only on a specific need purpose through enhanced security methods, and stored offline when possible.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Contact forms

We maintain the information sent to us through our customer intake and other forms in our CRM system. This information may be used for our marketing purposes, but will not be shared with outside third parties. You may request to delete all of your personal information through the opt-out form at the end of this page.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

We may use optional cookies for tracking purposes, but do not share this tracking data with third parties.

Analytics

We use in-house anonymizing analytics software (Matomo Analytics Ethical Stats) hosted on our own servers, and do everything possible to minimize data-sharing with third parties. We do not use Google Analytics.

You may choose to prevent this website from aggregating and analyzing the actions you take here. Doing so will protect your privacy, but will also prevent the owner from learning from your actions and creating a better experience for you and other users.


Who we share your data with

We only share your information with our direct subcontractors (your personal concierges in each country you buy our services in) on a need-to-know basis only. We never share your information with outside third parties.

How long we retain your data

We retain customer purchase data for ten years. This is also the time we retain customer intake and other such information, unless otherwise noted. Technical information such as cookies expire in 180 days.

What rights you have over your data

You can always request deletion of your data. If you have active services, we will retain the information required to keep those services running until they expire, after which we will delete all your remaining data. You can find the data deletion request form at the end of this page.

Where your data is sent

Your information is stored on servers located in the European Union, but may be collected through front-end servers that may be located in any other country. Our methods for collecting sensitive personal information (such as passport information) are geo-restricted through encryption to keep the data within European Union. Your credit card information is processed by Stripe, a US-based corporation.

Information removal (right to be forgotten)

The easiest way to be forgotten is to fill the form below. You can also email your request to gdpr@sovereignlanding.com (please include the email you used when signing up). We may need to maintain data necessary for any of your actively ongoing services, but will comply with your request as soon as possible once those services are concluded.
